Here's a verse for all of you,

Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)
¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Recently God reminded me of a dream He put into my heart quite some time ago. When I looked at myself now and looked at the dream.. I couldn't help but have doubt. I asked God "God, will I ever get there? Is it even possible?"

And God replied
"You will get there, to the place I have planned for you, believe me, I believe in you. Even when nobody else does, even when you've done all the wrong things in the world, I still believe in you. From the day I told you that you were ready, do you remember once during cg, I told you, and you agreed? Because I am molding you, to use you greatly, in ways you cannot think or imagine. Regardless of what you have done, regardless of what others think. Even if others think you have no value, or think you are a burden, I look at you with eyes of love and faith, and I will use you to shame the strong, I love you more than anything, believe me."

Which reminded me of God's unfailing love.. Even when you are faithless, He is faithful. Even when your fear is crippling you, God believes in you. When you think you cannot do it, look to God. Run to His arms, because His love will always be enough.

You may have made mistakes,
but God never remembers your mistakes,
God doesn't place a death sentence on you because of one mistake,
but His mercies are new every morning,
His grace is more than enough,
He still believes in you.

He Loves You

The times you told Him you couldnt do it anymore, the times you sat and complained, the times you said you wanted to give up and stop serving, every single thing that you've said, wrong or right,

God still loves you.

Under Pressure

Hi guys! Just want share a word of encouragement with all of you, hope that you guys will feel better after reading this! :)

Our God's a funny God, He's creative and He thinks out of the box, and sometimes He puts us in situations which we would never think we would get into..

We're just like an ice cube,


Under heat and pressure, we melt. Everytime we hit a dead end, everytime we get discouraged, we start melting away and we are no longer solid, no longer strong. But you know what? God is just like our freezer, when we come back to the altar, when we go into His presence, He makes us strong once again. Thats the importance of seeking God and having a good relationship with Him. If we don't, then we will become liquid, we won't be as strong as before, and the scary thing is, we might not even realise it.

God is our healer, our refuge and our strength. He is the one who loves us through every situation and circumstance. Maybe we feel like we have disappointed Him because we got soft, because we gave up once, but just like how your freezer will always turn liquid into ice, God will never stop molding us and loving us. His love and mercies know no boundaries.

So guys, keep on walking, even if you are going through a difficult time. Even if everyone else says you cannot make it. You know when you are climbing a mountain, as you get higher, it gets steeper, and its harder to climb?



But when you reach the top the view will be breathtaking, and you'll realize that all the effort that you had put in was worthwhile. :)

We might struggle, we might cry, and we might feel alone at times. But remember that our Father has planned every single step of our life, He is our protector and every single thing we go through will only make us stronger. Our Daddy God keeps all our tears in a bottle, when we cry, He cries too. Even though it hurts Him to see us suffering, He allows it because He knows we will become better people after everything.

But He knows the way that I take;When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
[Job 23:10]

Unity

Hi guys, i just thought of sharing this :)

I always believe that cell group and unity comes together.

Remember the time shing preach about unity?

"Unity is to strongly fence the door."

The best demonstrations of unity is in the Book Of Acts!

Acts 2:46

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

You see unity is simple - It is to be together being glad and staying true to God!

Acts 2:47
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Then the people became so happy and praised God daily!

No just that, It goes on to say that they enjoyed grace with ALL the people!

Unity is a good thing !

Psalms 133:2Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] For brethren to dwell together in unity!

Genesis 11:6
"Look!" he said. "If they can accomplish this when they have just begun to take advantage of their common language and political unity, just think of what they will do later. Nothing will be impossible for them!

See, Nothing will be impossible!

God Himself said it ! No mountains will be too high, no ocean will to to deep ! So lets come together and make this cell group into a better place!
A united cell group, that will draw people to us.A cell group that isn't stingy with our praise for each other.A cell group that love each other for who we are!

New Building & Sun

WE'VE GOT OUR BUILDING!

In March 2011, we will be moving from Expo to........

Suntec Convention Center!
Indeed God is a God that answers prayers! After praying and asking for a new building, we finally have our own 12000 seater auditorium! So W472, lets continue to dream BIG for God because nothing is too hard for our Almighty God! :)

Meantime, it is now the building fund season! Believe that all of us had pledge our BEST last weekend, so lets sacrifice for the house of God and fulfill our vows together! :)

Last but not least! Besides the highlight of knowing our new church building...
This was definitely something that made many of our W472 happy happy happy!

Word of Harvest

WORD OF HARVEST

Hi, it’s my first time posting on our CG’s blog (:
Warning: Lengthy wordy post!

Here to share a Word from God today. I’m so excited!! Coz truthfully speaking, this is like the first time i’ve really felt that God spoke to me. Perhaps it’s because of Camp Believe, which i feel has really grown me as a Christian.

So this afternoon, i was supposed to be studying but i suddenly felt an urge to pray, so i did. And while praying in tongues, my mind was in a blank when God suddenly spoke these two words “Bread” and “Waters” into me. Random words which didn’t make sense at all to me at first. But still i felt something in me so i decided to check it out in the Bible.

This led me to Ecclesiastes 11:1-6.

^{Cast your bread upon the waters,
For you will find it after many days.
2 Give a serving to seven, and also to eight,
For you do not know what evil will be on the earth.
3 If the clouds are full of rain,
They empty themselves upon the earth;
And if a tree falls to the south or the north,
In the place where the tree falls, there it shall lie.
4 He who observes the wind will not sow,
And he who regards the clouds will not reap.
5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
6 In the morning sow your seed,
And in the evening do not withhold your hand;
For you do not know which will prosper,
Either this or that,
Or whether both alike will be good.} 

I prayed for further revelation and i got kind of a vague one about something like sowing, risking and receiving abundantly. A voice in me told me to go check the verses out on the internet, thus i did.

And GUESS WHAT!!

According to ChristNotes,

The commentary on Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 is:

Solomon presses the rich to do good to others. Give freely, though it may seem thrown away and lost. Give to many. Excuse not thyself with the good thou hast done, from the good thou hast further to do. It is not lost, but well laid out. We have reason to expect evil, for we are born to trouble; it is wisdom to do good in the day of prosperity.

Riches cannot profit us, if we do not benefit others. Every man must labour to be a blessing to that place where the providence of God casts him. Wherever we are, we may find good work to do, if we have but hearts to do it.

If we magnify every little difficulty, start objections, and fancy hardships, we shall never go on, much less go through with our work. Winds and clouds of tribulation are, in God's hands, designed to try us. God's work shall agree with his word, whether we see it or not. And we may well trust God to provide for us, without our anxious, disquieting cares. Be not weary in well-doing, for in due season, in God's time, you shall reap,Galatians 6:9.

So i tried to decipher it and started to realise what God is telling me. Before i write what i deciphered, want to tell everyone this, this is REALLY the time for harvest!

What i deciphered (line by line according to the commentary) :

We are the rich as we have Christ in us, thus we must do good to others by reaching out to them. Getting them saved eternally is really doing good. Although it seems like friends are not coming, still continue to do it. Ask as many people around you as you can.

Even though you managed to get a few friends, dun be contented, but continue to be anxious about all our friends out there who are not yet saved. For everything we’re doing now is not lost, but is laying the path for our friends to Christ.

We will face troubles and obstacles and rejection, but all these are part and parcel of life, and it will be clever to reach out to others during this Christmas time, the time of harvest.

What we have now is stagnant unless we bring in new friends.

As God brought us to His church where we are well loved, we must reach out and bring others in and share His perfect love. No matter where we are, as long as we really want to do it with our hearts for God, we will be able to win souls.

If we get disheartened easily and give up after facing a few rejections from friends we try to reach out to, the harsh fact is that, you can never get any friends into the House of God.

All the rejections are designed to test our faith and our commitment to be evangelistic.

God will always keep what he promised us (like what he told Caleb) even if we do not see the fruits of our labour now. We must keep faith and trust God and continue to pray for and reach out to friends.

Do not give up, for you will surely reap what you sow into the hearts of your friends.

That’s all; Hope it’s clear, you can ask me in person if you dun really understand. (: I’m really so excited for the whole of today coz of this. Lol. What didn’t seem to make any sense to me at all turned out to make the whole world of sense to me now.

Topping it off, during the second day of Camp believe, when brother Edmund tell us to share with our neighbours our dreams. I told wendy (she’s sitting beside me ) that i want to be a good evangelist. (:

I feel that God is really telling each and every one of us to really keep faith and continue asking and asking and asking for friends this Christmas. Don’t be contented with the few friends you’ve already got to come. Keep on asking till the 25^th. 9 more days of persistent asking left to go.

We can do it!! (: (:

BALLOONNSSS!

BALLOONNSSS!

Hello friends, im gonna share my revelation on... BALLOONS!:D we know that balloons are able to decorate places, used for games and etc. but in this, God told me that I am or should i say, we are just like a balloon. When I was first without Christ, I was useless and lost in the wilderness.

We do know that balloons need air, helium to be inflated in order to be used. If it is deflated, it would not be as nice compared to it being inflated. As I came to know Christ, He used me and filled me with His love, which represent the air/ helium that balloons need.

But we do know that God can do much more things than that! He would shower us unconditionally with His love and ALL!

As we are been filled with His power, we turn beautiful on the inside and out.

He reminded me that I could not do anything great without His ability and might. With His power, we could not go that far of where we are right now.

But sometimes due to some pressure, we will break down physically, mentally and spiritually. We will be like this balloon, which will be put under pressure. Sometimes by just giving up too easily, we will thence to burst.

Some might think that after a balloon had burst, it would be end of its ‘life’. Applying to our life, people would backslide and run away from the troubles that they are facing.

However, God reminded me that even though we go through a rough patch in our life, He wants us to stay faithful to Him, knowing that God will always help up to overcome every difficulties and troubles. As it says in

1 Thess 3:3
That no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.

As all of us know that God place us of where we are right now is not because He wants to see us fail, but is to succeed.. He would not abandon us alone, instead with His grace and mercy, He will lead us out of the problems that we are facing, because He is a GREAT God! (: even though things maybe tough for us, we must know and see what great things God had installed in our life, for every single one of us. So guys, whenever you are feeling tired in the outside, DONT GIVE UP! because God would NEVER give up on you. (:

We're gonna celebrate mooncake festival togetherrr! This Friday, 730pm @ my place! It'll be even MORE fun than Japan Hour, with more GAMES and more FOOD! Remember to bring your MOONCAKES! You can even dress as Chang 'er or Hou Yi or smth if you want. ^^ Invite all your friendsssss! Everyone needs a break from studying!

Anyway, to everyone that has been worrying,

stop worrying!! Just do your best and let God do the rest, let go and let God! If you pull a rubberband too hard, it snaps. Don't let yourself snap!
