Emerge - Back To School

EMERGE - BACK TO SCHOOL!
Last Friday was the long awaited EMERGE! It was definitely such an awesome time where the youths all come together being so fervent praising and worshipping God in such a cool looking "off the lights" setting :) Of course we enjoyed preaching, the touch from God and the many other programs :) Looking forward to the next EMERGE in April!

Loy Hei CG Meeting!

CELLGROUP!

This week's cellgroup message was really good!
A summary of what we learnt! The story about Mary & Martha!
We learnt that God honors your worship more than you serving Him. He wants to spend time with you and not just want you to be busy serving in His kingdom. Christianity is not just a religion, it is a relationship with God! :)
We also had a revelation that Martha and Mary had the same request but yet because of Mary's different attitude, Jesus responded differently. And it is not about saying "we believe" but about living it out because in the story, we read that Martha said she believed but yet she did not live it out. But despite all these, we also understood God's unconditional love for us all even though we messed up in life; He loves us all the same :)
And lastly, we understood that "dissatisfaction comes when we only take and not give". When we always think about how to take or benefit from people/things but never never give anything, we will always be dissatisfied.
I'm sure all of us enjoyed this week's cellgroup^^

Hey W472!! Don't forget that this saturday 7 FEB 2009 is our Loy Hei CG!!!
